Dear all,

Let’s start the registration for the 14th edition of www.seoultennis.com tournament starting the 9th of April.

You can register right now by sending me an email (info@seoultennis.com) with your name and first name, availabilities to play, telephone numbers (H/P, office or residence), etc. The participation fees are 25 000 wons, to cover the expenses of the tournament (trophies purchases, partial financing of a meal for all the players), and are to be sent to the following bank account KEB(05) 620-1560-46762 (please tell me when you send the money and please tell me if you send the money with using another name).

Rules of the tournament:
- Round robin tournament, 16 players only (First come first served !)
- Two players of the same round robin have to contact each other to plan their match according to their availabilities
- They will have to pay the expenses for booking the court.
- This formula allows everyone to organize in a very simple way his/her tournament calendar, dates are not imposed.

Most of the people have trips during this period, the experience has shown that 3 matches over 37 days is not a big deal to organize; nearly all the matches could be played during the 13th last editions. You may also have injuries ... but every single player in the last tournament had some, so take you racket and go for fun!

Full regulation on: http://www.seoultennis.com/#b

We are welcoming new sponsors to help us for prices at the end of the tournament.

Thank you for forwarding this e-mail to your friend players who are not on the above distribution list or who did not take part in the previous tournaments…

Best regards, and see you very soon on the courts.

Welcome to the tennis players of Seoul city

This individual tournament consists in two successive phases:
- round robins phase
- phase " final board ": 1/4, 1/2 and finale (place to be defined)

The matches of round robins phase will take place from April 9th to May 16th, 2010.
The matches of the phase “final board" will take place from May 17th to June 6th, 2010.

Two players of the same round robins have to contact and plan their match according to their availabilities.

They will also have to pay the expenses for booking their court. This formula allows to organize in a very simple way one's tournament calendar. The dates are not imposed. It is thus very easy to plan these 3 round robin matches over 37 days.

After each match, in order to update the site, the score is communicated to the person in charge of the tournament, Olivier Mouroux at the email address : info@seoultennis.com.

You can also join him at the telephone number: 010 + 7165+2764.

Olivier will watch the good progress of the tournament and will solve the litigations in case of complains.
This site will allow to follow the progress of the tournament every day.

1- It acts of an individual tournament including two successive phases:

- round robins phase
- phase “final board ": 1/4, 1/2 and finale (place to be defined)

2- The tournament is open to men and women players.

3- The matches are played in two wining sets.

4- The rank of the players inside each round robin is obtained by the attribution of points:

- 2 points per gained match, including W.O
- 1 point by played and lost match
- 0 point in the case of defeat by W.O

W.O. (Walk Over)

5- Each round robin qualifies 2 players for the phase “final board”.

These 2 qualified players are those having obtained the maximum of points at the end of the matches of the round robins phase. In the case of equality of points between players of the same round robin , one counts the greatest number of matches gained and lost by each player.

In the case of new equality, the players to be decided between will replay a match in two gaining sets. The tie break or decisive play occurs when the score reached six plays at any time in a set, except in the third set (if there is one).

6- In the phase “final board,” the qualified players of the same round robin should not meet during the first turn.

7- In the case of abandon or disqualification in the course of the match, the score to be recorded is given by attribution to the winner of all the plays remaining to be disputed at the time when the match stops.

Any player registered in a round robin has to play all the matches foreseen. In the case of abandon of a player for one or more round robins matches, each result is considered as a defeat by W.O.
